The Parish Office is now shifted to the classroom next to the grotto.
The entry is from the main road by the side of the Church.

​​​​​CHURCH REPAIRS
As you may be aware, we will soon be starting with the repairs of our Church. Your generous contribution towards repairs of the Church will be
of great help and support. Your kind contribution can be made by cash or cheque in name of "Church of Our Lady of Dolours" along with copy of your PAN card at the Parish Office.

Donation Box towards Church Repairs marked as “Your Donation for Church Repairs” has been placed in the Parish Office. You may visit the Parish Office with your donation to drop in your cash / cheques in this box.

​​​​​Beginning 03rd November 2025
we will not be having our services here in this Church due to commencement of repairs. We will be having our Church services at the St. Xavier’s High School in the stone-hall, ground floor till completion of Church repairs. Our daily Mass schedule will be as follows :
MASSES AT ST. XAVIERS SCHOOL
Sundays :In Konkani - 8:00 a.m. and
In English - 9:00 a.m.
followed by Catechism class in the same premises. Kindly note -
There will be NO EVENING MASS ON SUNDAYS.

Weekdays :In English - 7:00 a.m. and
7:00 p.m.
except on Fridays there will be no evening Mass at St. Xavier’s School.

MASSES AT CROSS MAIDAN
Every Friday at 6:30 p.m. as usual.

The Blessed Sacrament Chapel (Prayer Room) will be closed from 03rd November 2025 till the completion of repairs.​
The ​Parish Office will be shifted to the classroom next to the grotto from Monday 27th October 2025 with the same timings.

HOLY HALF HOUR
Due to repairs of the Church - From November 2025 onwards - we will not be having our Holy Half Hour Adoration service on First Fridays of the month till completion of church repairs.

FEAST OF THE BAPTISM OF OUR LORD
Today we celebrate the Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord, the day when Jesus, though sinless, humbled Himself to be baptized by John in the river Jordan. Let us remind ourselves that through our own Baptisms we are called to be the beloved children of God.

On basis of the above new Mass Schedule we will be accepting Masses for the month of February 2026 from 9:30 a.m.
Only one intention on a particular day per family will be accepted.
Multiple intentions for Wednesday and Saturday evening will be
accepted from 19th January 2026. Please bring exact change.
​​​​We are now accepting masses for souls on Sundays also.

Kindly note, we will not be having the 7:00 am and 7:00 pm Mass here in this
Stone-hall premises.
Only on this day we will be having our 7:00 am and 7:00 pm Mass at the Cross Maidan.
Parishioners are requested to kindly exercise your right to vote on 15th January.

VOCATION SUNDAY AND LAITY SUNDAY
Today we are called to reflect on the many ways God calls us to live our lives in service to Him and to one another. Let us be open to God’s plan for our lives and have the courage to say ‘yes’ to His invitation.
Today, we also celebrate Laity Sunday.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
Five children of our Parish will be receiving the Sacrament of First Holy Communion at the 11:00 am Mass to be held at St. Francis Xavier’s Church Dabul.
Please keep our five Communicants in your prayers as they prepare their hearts and minds to receive Jesus for the first time.​​

QUEST PROGRAM
The Diocesan Vocation Service Centre of the Archdiocese of Bombay are organising a ‘Quest’ Program for those discerning their vocation to the Priestly or Religious life - for boys and girls within the age group of 21 to 40.
This will be held on Sunday, 18th January 2026 at St. Pius X College, Aarey Road, Goregaon East. Kindly see the Notice Board for more details.​​​​​

in our South Bombay Deanery will be held in the Cathedral of The Holy Name, Colaba, at 7:00 pm. We urge our parishioners to attend this service.

PARISH BULLETIN
Parishioners are invited to submit articles for the forthcoming Parish bulletin on themes of their choice.
The forthcoming issue will cover topics including the feast of Christ the King, Christmas, various saints, Christmas week programmes (spiritual and cultural), Republic Day, Lent, Jubilee Cross, Our Lady’s statue visits, Community feasts and related parish activities.
Articles addressing relevant social issues such as water conservation, electricity usage and garbage segregation are also encouraged.
The last date for submission is 30th January 2026. Articles can be sent to : dolourschurch@gmail.com.
