1st October 2025

ROSARY MONTH

Holy Rosary will be recited every day.

On weekdays at 7:05 a.m. followed by Mass and

on Sundays after the 9:00 a.m. Mass in the Church.

3rd October 2025

HOLY HALF HOUR

Being the First Friday of the month, Holy Half Hour will be conducted by

the St. Jude Community after the 7:00 p.m. Mass.

​

​​​CHURCH REPAIRS

As you may be aware, we will soon be starting with the repairs of our Church.  Your generous contribution towards repairs of the Church will be

of great help and support.  Your kind contribution can be made by cash or cheque in name of "Church of Our Lady of Dolours" along with copy of your PAN card at the Parish Office.

OR

Donation Box towards Church Repairs marked as “Your Donation for Church Repairs” has been placed in front of the Altar. You may drop in your cash / cheques in this box or you may visit the Parish Office with your donation.

This is to inform ALL OUR PARISH ASSSOCIATION HEADS & COORDINATORS that the repairs of our Parish will commence soon. In this regard you are requested to kindly come and take responsibility of all your items / props that have been kept in the cupboards in the Parish premises and relocate to some other suitable place. We will not be held responsible if they are missing once the repair work starts.

Let us pray for all Mission areas and for the Missionaries.

Poster of World Mission Day is displayed on the Parish Notice Board.

ALL SAINTS DAY

Masses in the Church will be as usual at 7:00 am and 7:00 pm.

The evening 7:00 pm Mass will be for All Saints Day intention.

2nd November 2025

ALL SOULS DAY

Masses in this Church will be as usual as on Sunday :

At - 9:00 and 10:30 in the morning – and at 5:00 in the evening.

 

Kindly place your intentions with any amount in the Special Mass Intention Box

in front of the Lectern stand.

All box intention Masses will be offered for All Souls.

No individual receipt will be given for the intentions placed in this box.

Masses for 2nd November will not be accepted in the Parish Office.

Masses on 2nd November - All Souls Day will be offered for box intentions only.​​​​

Beginning 03rd November 2025

we will not be having our services here in this Church due to commencement of repairs. We will be having our Church services at the St. Xavier’s High School in the stone-hall, ground floor till completion of Church repairs. Our daily Mass schedule will be as follows :

On Sundays …       At 8:00 am ( Mass in Konkani ) and at 9:00 am ( Mass in English )                                    followed by Catechism class in the same premises.

On Weekdays …    Daily at 7:00 am and 7:00 pm ( Mass in English )

                                  except on Fridays there will be no evening Mass at St.   

                                  Xavier’s School.

                                  We will be having Mass as usual at Cross Maidan at 6:30 pm.

The Blessed Sacrament Chapel (Prayer Room) will be closed from 03rd November 2025 till the completion of repairs.​

The ​Parish Office will be shifted to the classroom next to the grotto from Monday 27th October 2025 with the same timings.

On basis of the above new Mass Schedule we will be accepting Masses for the month of November 2025 from 9:30 a.m.

Only one intention on a particular day per family will be accepted.

Multiple intentions for Wednesday and Saturday evening will be

accepted from 18th October 2025. Please bring exact change.

​​​​We are now accepting masses for souls on Sundays also.

Parishioners wishing to contribute articles for the upcoming Parish Bulletin may do so on any theme. This issue will include the Nativity Feast, Feast of the Triumph of the Holy Cross, the Triduum, Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, Septenas - spiritual and cultural programmes, Parish Feast, community feasts, Sports extravaganza, etc. You are also welcome to write on relevant social issues such as water, electricity, environment issues, or garbage segregation. The last date for submission is 30th October 2025. Articles may be sent to: dolourschurch@gmail.com.

ONLINE APPLICATION FORMS FOR ADMISSIONS TO :

• St. Mary’s International School for Kindergarten (Jr. KG), Grade 1 and 3 for academic year 2026-27 will be available from Friday, 10th October 2025 to 31st October 2025. Kindly check the school website : www.stmarysinternational.com for further details.

JUBILEE PRAYER

Beginning this month - we will be regularly saying the Jubilee Prayer and also Prayers for the Repairs of the Church.  Both the prayers are placed in the Hymnals as well as on the pews.  These prayers will be recited on Saturdays evening Mass and on Sunday at all Masses.

It has been observed that candles and agarbattis are being lit up

at the grotto of Our Lady by the side of the Church.

Requesting Parishioners not to light candles or any other

flammable items near the grotto.

​​

The Parish expresses a sincere word of ‘Thanks’ to all our parishioners who have been regularly contributing generously towards the Parish Community Welfare Fund. We request all those who are yet to contribute to kindly do the same.

COMMUNITY WELFARE FUND

After Covid, the Community Welfare Fund (CWF) collections have gone down. Requesting parishioners to kindly oblige by giving your CWF contributions for the various activities of the parish.

Fresh envelopes are available.  Please do collect.

will be open every day in the afternoon from 2:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.

for the Divine Mercy Novena.

​​SUNDAY SCHOOL
will reopen in June 2025.  Requesting parents to send their children regularly every Sunday for Sunday school.​ Children's Mass at 9:00 a.m. followed by Catechism Class.
