MASSES IN CHURCH

As discussed at the Parish Council all masses from the month of August,

will be in English, except the Sunday evening 5:00 pm mass which will be

in Konkani.

FEAST OF THE PRESENTATION OF OUR LORD

Blessing of candles will be at 8:45 a.m. followed by procession and

Mass at 9:00 a.m.

This day is also a World Day of Consecrated Life.

We pray for all religious men and women especially those working

in our parish and those who are from our parish

There will be blessing of the throats after all Masses in the Church.

HOLY HALF HOUR

is the First Friday of the month. Holy Half Hour will be conducted by

the Holy Cross Community after the 7:00 p.m. mass.

HOLY CHILDHOOD SUNDAY

A second collection will be made at every Mass for the poor and

abandoned children.

This amount will be sent to the Archdiocese of Bombay.

WORLD DAY OF THE SICK

Let us pray for the sick and homebound member of our family

and community.

HOMEBOUND AND SICK

If you have a homebound or a sick family member who needs Holy Communion at home, kindly contact the Parish Office with all details.

CONFIRMATION DAY

The Sacrament of Confirmation will be conferred upon the confirmands

of our Parish by Bishop Dominic Savio Fernandes at the 07:00 pm. Mass

to be held at St. Francis Xavier's Church, Dabul.

Please keep our seven confirmands in your prayers as they prepare

their hearts and minds to receive the sacrament of confirmation.

Only one intention on a particular day per family will be accepted.

Multiple intentions for Wednesday and Saturday evening will be

accepted from 18th February.

JUBILEE YEAR - PILGRIMAGE OF HOPE

As you are aware - Pope Francis has declared this year as a Jubilee Year.

There will be a special Mass at 09:00 a.m. followed by a short prayer

service. All are requested to attend.

We will be having a special Mass with anointing and blessing of the

sick of our Parish at 11:30 a.m.

COMMUNITY WELFARE FUND

After Covid, the Community Welfare Fund (CWF) collections have gone down. Requesting parishioners to kindly oblige by giving your CWF contributions for the various activities of the parish.

Fresh envelopes are available. Please do collect.

PARISH CENSUS

The Archdiocese needs us to update the parish census.

Requesting the Co-ordinators and SCC animators to update the census at the earliest as per format sent.

We thank the parishioners for cooperating with the animators & co-ordinators in doing the Parish census.

ADORATION CHAPEL

will be open every day in the afternoon from 2:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.

for the Divine Mercy Novena.

SPECIAL REQUEST

to the faithful to enter the Church from the main road as the Lane

between Vaz Building – Parsee Building and the Church is slippery

because of the moss in the monsoons. Kindly avoid the Lane to enter

the Church & Grotto. We have put bleaching powder to curb the moss

growth.

Requesting parents to send their children regularly every Sunday for Sunday school. Children's Mass at 9:00 a.m. followed by Catechism Class.

CONFIRMATION CLASSES
are available every Sunday from 9:00 a.m. on YouTube channel of our Archdiocese. Students who have appeared for SSC or ICSE exams this year are eligible for Confirmation.
