CHURCH REPAIRS

As you may be aware, we will soon be starting with the repairs of our Church. Your generous contribution towards repairs of the Church will be

of great help and support. Your kind contribution can be made by cash or cheque in name of "Church of Our Lady of Dolours" along with copy of your PAN card at the Parish Office.

OR

Donation Box towards Church Repairs marked as “Your Donation for Church Repairs” has been placed near the Altar as well as in the Parish Office. You may visit the Parish Office with your donation to drop in your cash / cheques in this box.

Beginning 03rd November 2025

we will not be having our services here in this Church due to commencement of repairs. We will be having our Church services at the St. Xavier’s High School in the stone-hall, ground floor till completion of Church repairs. Our daily Mass schedule will be as follows :

MASSES AT ST. XAVIERS SCHOOL

Sundays :In Konkani - 8:00 a.m. and

In English - 9:00 a.m.

followed by Catechism class in the same premises. Kindly note -

There will be NO EVENING MASS ON SUNDAYS.

Weekdays :In English - 7:00 a.m. and

7:00 p.m.

except on Fridays there will be no evening Mass at St. Xavier’s School.

MASSES AT CROSS MAIDAN

Every Friday at 6:30 p.m. as usual.

The Blessed Sacrament Chapel (Prayer Room) will be closed from 03rd November 2025 till the completion of repairs.

The Parish Office will be shifted to the classroom next to the grotto from Monday 27th October 2025 with the same timings.

HOLY HALF HOUR

Due to repairs of the Church - From November 2025 onwards - we will not be having our Holy Half Hour Adoration service on First Fridays of the month till completion of church repairs.

MASSES FOR MARCH 2026

Masses for the month of March 2026 will be accepted from 9:30 a.m.

Only during Lent season, we will be accepting one intention for 5:00 p.m. Mass to be held at Cross Maidan.

Multiple intentions for Wednesday and Saturday evening will be accepted from

19th February.

Please bring exact change amount.

LENTEN SEASON BEGINS

18th February 2026

ASH WEDNESDAY

We begin the Holy Season of Lent.

It is a day of fasting and abstinence.

Masses in this premises will be at 7:00 am and 7:00 p.m.

Mass at Cross Maidan will be at 6:30 p.m.

Ashes will be imposed by the Priests and Eucharistic Ministers during

every Mass after the Gospel and reflection.

WAY OF THE CROSS

Meditating on the Way of the Cross helps us to contemplate on the

Passion of Christ.

Way of the Cross in English conducted by each community every Fridays

at 6:00 pm at the Cross Maidan followed by Mass at 6:30 p.m.

On Sundays, the Way of the Cross will be in Konkani conducted by the Lectors

at 4:30 p.m. at the Cross Maidan followed by Mass and Passo Service at 5:00 p.m.

ELECTIONS FOR COUNCIL MEMBERS

will take place in April 2026. Accordingly, Co-ordinators are requested to update eligible voters of those above the age of 18 years for their respective community

in the Parish Office during office hours before 25th February 2026.

The Parish sincerely thank all our parishioners who have been regularly contributing generously towards the Parish Community Welfare Fund.

The Collection Box for Community Welfare Fund is kept in front of the Altar.

7:00 p.m. Mass here in this premises. All are invited to join.
