​​​​​CHURCH REPAIRS

As you may be aware, we will soon be starting with the repairs of our Church.  Your generous contribution towards repairs of the Church will be

of great help and support.  Your kind contribution can be made by cash or cheque in name of "Church of Our Lady of Dolours" along with copy of your PAN card at the Parish Office.

OR

Donation Box towards Church Repairs marked as “Your Donation for Church Repairs” has been placed in the Parish Office. You may visit the Parish Office with your donation to drop in your cash / cheques in this box.

ALL OUR PARISH ASSSOCIATION HEADS & COORDINATORS 

are hereby informed that NO MEETINGS will be held in the premises of 

Vaz Building and Church Hall due to commencement of our Church repairs.

​​​​​Beginning 03rd November 2025

we will not be having our services here in this Church due to commencement of repairs. We will be having our Church services at the St. Xavier’s High School in the stone-hall, ground floor till completion of Church repairs. Our daily Mass schedule will be as follows :

On Sundays …       At 8:00 am ( Mass in Konkani ) and at 9:00 am ( Mass in English )                                    followed by Catechism class in the same premises.

On Weekdays …    Daily at 7:00 am and 7:00 pm ( Mass in English )

                                  except on Fridays there will be no evening Mass at St.   

                                  Xavier’s School.

                                  We will be having Mass as usual at Cross Maidan at 6:30 pm.

The Blessed Sacrament Chapel (Prayer Room) will be closed from 03rd November 2025 till the completion of repairs.​

The ​Parish Office will be shifted to the classroom next to the grotto from Monday 27th October 2025 with the same timings.

HOLY HALF HOUR

Due to repairs of the Church - From November 2025 onwards - we will not be having our Holy Half Hour Adoration service on First Fridays of the month till completion of church repairs.

9th November 2025

SUNDAY SCHOOL

reopens after mid-term break and begins after the 9:00 a.m. Mass.

The classes will be held in the premises of St. Xavier’s School (Stone Hall) soon

after the Mass.

Requesting parents to send their children regularly every Sunday for Mass and Sunday School.

15th November 2025

On basis of the above new Mass Schedule we will be accepting Masses for the month of December 2025 from 9:30 a.m.

Only one intention on a particular day per family will be accepted.

Multiple intentions for Wednesday and Saturday evening will be

accepted from 19th November 2025. Please bring exact change.

​​​​We are now accepting masses for souls on Sundays also.

from 05:00 pm onwards at St. Theresa’s School Ground, Charni Road.

Animators will be coming around with the invite.

SOLEMNITY OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, THE KING OF THE UNIVERSE

Blessed Sacrament will be exposed from 11:30 a.m. onwards at Nirmala Niketan (College of Home Science), 1st Floor, New Marine Lines and end with final benediction.

At 5:00 pm we will have Mass and sermon in English by Fr. Francis Swami S.J.

All the Heads of Association and SCC Coordinators are requested to lead the half hour adoration of their respective associations and community.

Parishioners are encouraged to attend in large numbers.

Kindly note, there will be no procession this year.

and the new Liturgical Year.

The Advent wreath service will be held before all the Masses.

Mass booking for First Death Anniversary (bring copy of death certificate), Community Feast, Parish Association Feast, Annual Club Feast and Building

​ONLINE APPLICATION FORMS FOR ADMISSIONS TO :​

• St. Anne’s High School, Fort, for Nursery and Junior Kindergarten for

       academic year 2026-27 will be available from Friday, 25th October 2025 to

       22nd November 2025. Kindly check the school website : www.stannesfort.com           for further details.

• Campion International School is conducting online admissions for Nursery

       and Junior Kindergarten for academic year 2026-27 for boys and girls.

       Dates for submission of printed copy at the School Security Office is :

       15th November to 15th December 2025 between 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• St. Xavier’s High School, Dhobitalao, Fort are now accepting admission for Jr. K.G. for the year 2026-27.  Students seeking admission in this school may fill

       the online form before 15th Dec. 2025.

• St. Xavier’s Boy’s Academy, New Marine Lines, are now accepting applications for Junior & Senior K.G. admissions for academic year 2026-27. Parents wishing to enrol their children may kindly complete the online application form on or before 20th December 2025.

is a programme for all eligible singles of marriage-able age organised by the

Family Cell of St. John Bosco Church, Borivali (West) from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

FESTIVAL OF FAMILIES

is being organised by Snehalaya Family Service Centre at Our Lady of Velankanni Shrine, Bhatebunder, Uttan, to mark the closing of the Jubilee Year.

All families are invited to be part of this joyful celebration. Please register by 6th December 2025. For registration, please see the Parish Notice board.

JUBILEE PRAYER

We will be regularly saying the Jubilee Prayer and also Prayers for the Repairs of the Church. 

Both the prayers are placed in the Hymnals as well as on the pews. 

These prayers will be recited on Saturdays evening Mass and on Sunday at all Masses.
