Rev. Father Anthony Banz is a young and energetic priest, appointed for the first time as a Parish Priest.
He is highly motivated and actively participates in all parish activities. His first assignment was as Assistant Parish Priest of Our Lady of Nazareth Church in Bhayander, followed by Our Lady of Fatima Church in Majiwada, Thane and then St. Anthony Church in Malwani , Malad. He is an alumnus of St. Elias High School in Khar and holds a Commerce degree from Rizvi College in Bandra

Rev. Fr. Lijo Kuruvilla was born in Upputhara, Idukki District, Kerala. He belongs to the religious Congregation called The Indian Missionary Society (IMS) and is a member of its Varanasi Province. Since his ordination, Fr. Lijo has been actively involved in social development work through DARE (Development Association for Research and Empowerment), an NGO based in Varanasi. He served as the Assistant Director of DARE from June 2018 to May 2023, and later as its Director from November 2023 to May 2026, contributing significantly to initiatives focused on research, empowerment, and community development.

He was ordained as a permanent Deacon on 18th April 2015 by His Eminence Cardinal Oswald Gracias, along with Deacon Everest and Deacon Ivan. Before being posted at Our Lady of Dolours Parish, he served for his weekend ministry at Good Shepherd Church, 4 Bungalows, Andheri West, where he spent over nine years animating SCC communities, the Legion of Mary (English, Konkani, youth), Charismatic Renewal (English and Konkani), and the Bible cell. He preaches the Sunday homily (in English and Konkani), teaches at retreats, and conducts Bible classes at the parish as well as at the Catholic Bible Institute in Bandra.
He expresses that he is enjoying his ministry as a Deacon and plans to continue doing so by God's grace, love, and the cooperation of the wonderful people of Our Lady of Dolours Parish.
